We are happy to accommodate hill walkers and cyclists and bikers, as we are located very close to both Coigach and Assynt Mountains where both the experienced and not so experienced hill walker will be happy, and, further afield there are the Fannich Hills and An Teallach. Your own qualified guide can be arranged if required. Please enquire in advance about this service
For the non hill walkers, Strathkanaird is an ideal touring base for many of the attractions of Northern Scotland, Dunrobin Castle, Inverewe Gardens, Shin Falls and Loch Ness all being approximately a one and a half hour drive away, whilst locally you can take a cruise to the Summer Isles to see various sea life and birds or alternatively Corrieshalloch Gorge on the South side of Ullapool is spectacular on a pleasant afternoon.
If required there is ample off-road private parking and a shed to store your bikes.
